As you can imagine, there are so many different types of signs that it is impossible to categorize each one in a simple list. Very often we use several types of substrates (PVC, foam, aluminum, wood…) to fabricate a job, and then we add a digital print (on paper, vinyl decal material, laminate…), and then contour cut to a custom shape (using a router, laser, water jet or hand cut…).
The few examples we have here, give you a taste of what we can do using various materials and a bit of creativity!
Tradeshow Exhibits – Unusual types of signs are often found displayed at tradeshows, where every business wants to be noticed above their competition. Let us fabricate an oversized product prototype in dimensional foam or provide rotating, free-standing banner displays! Have clear acrylic displays? Let us decorate each one of them with custom vinyl lettering or dimensional letters.
Interpretive Trail Signs – These signs are typically seen at parks and trails. They inform the passer-by about their natural surroundings, post safety information or give directional information. A special fiberglass embedded face is recommended for the long life of the sign. For trail signs that are enclosed in a directory or don’t have direct exposure to the sun, we can produce digital signs with a protective UV laminate that will add years and durability to the sign without the expense of fiberglass.
Construction Hording – New construction often has a fence or wood “hording” surrounding the area for safety. Put that hording to work announcing the new company to come … or your construction company … or the bank that is financing the project! We can print directly to rigid wood or PVC material and screw the panels into the hording. If you have a fence, we print directly to banner material and hang onto the fence.
Custom Street Signs – Many planned communities and business parks prefer a custom look to the many safety and regulatory signage required.
